우리가 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자유인이나
다 한 성령으로 침례를 받아 한 몸이 되었고
또 다 한 성령을 마시게 하셨느니라 (고전 12:13)

FFor by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-
and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사
(돕는 자)를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와
함께 있게 하리니 (요 14:16)

I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.

이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라 (롬 8:2)

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

육신을 따르지 않고 그 영(성령)을 따라 행하는 우리에게 율법의 요구가 이루어지게 하려 하심이니라
(롬 8:4)

that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to
the flesh but according to the Spirit.

무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은
곧 하나님의 아들이라 (롬 8:14)
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
these are sons of God.

성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의
자녀인 것을 증언하시나니 (롬 8:16)
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that
we are children of God.

내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 따라 행하라 그리하면
육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라 육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스르고 성령은 육체를 거스르나니 이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희가 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라 너희가 만일 성령의 인도하시는 바가 되면 율법 아래에 있지 아니하리라
(갈 5:16-18)

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill
the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit,
you are not under the law.

오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을
금지할 법이 없느니라 (갈 5:22-23)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.

술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래들로 서로 화답하며 너희의 마음으로 주께 노래하며 찬송하며 범사에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 항상 아버지 하나님께 감사하며 그리스도를 경외함으로 피차 복종하라 (엡 5:18-21)

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another
in the fear of God.

하나님의 성령을 근심하게 하지 말라 그 안에서 너희가 구원의 날까지 인치심을 받았느니라 (엡 4:30)

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

성령을 소멸하지 말며 (살전 5:19)

Do not quench the Spirit.

너희는 너희의 지극히 거룩한 믿음 위에 자신을 세우며 성령으로 기도하며 (유 1:20)

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit

모든 기도와 간구를 하되 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하라 (엡 6:18)

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

주께서 사랑하시는 형제들아 우리가 항상 너희에 관하여 마땅히 하나님께 감사할 것은 하나님이 처음부터 너희를 택하사 성령의 거룩하게 하심과 진리를 믿음으로 구원을 받게 하심이니 (살후 2:13)

BWe are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

곧 하나님 아버지의 미리 아심을 따라 성령이 거룩하게 하심으로 순종함과 예수 그리스도의 피 뿌림을 얻기 위하여 택하심을 받은 자들에게 편지하노니 은혜와
평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다 (벧전 1:2)

elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
